Triangle Girl

Today’s post features more examples of masks that were not published during the eighteen-year run of Geranium Lake Properties. I am unsure if these masks (and this one) of the demalion Iljom Irreysee were designed by the decidedly fictional Alice Aroumbeyski, despite their similarities to her style.

Iljom Irreysee, aka the Ghost of Closed Doors and the Story Told, appeared in two of Jack Loki’s adventures, “The Gal with the Triangle” (which takes place in the dystopian Hermetic commune of the Villa Medici) and “The Quasi-Liturgical Delusions of Principles, Gnosis and Time” (a journey into the depths of the Sloane Arboretum). There is every indication that these panels are complete and ready to take their places in the narratives of those two stories, but for some reason, Yost kept them back. These comics have been abiding quietly in the archives, unseen by the larger universe, until today.
