  1. I’d love to recommend some Scott for you but I’ll give two LPs as there’s such a shift in sound from his early solo material to the later releases. Try 1969’s Scott 3 first of all, it has some of his greatest songs on it (in my opinion) including one of my all time favourites “It’s Raining Today” which always gives me a lump in the throat. Pure audio melancholia. The second LP is from 2012 and is called Bish Bosch, it’s an intensely experimental work but I find it not quite as dense as others released in a similar timeframe. See if you can make out the sound of swords being sharpened and the slapping of raw meat. I hope you’re able to check these two fine albums out as they’re both exceptionally powerful in their own way. Happy listening!
